What is emiti.xyz?
Emiti is a decentralized social network built on IPFS (Interplanetary File System) to foster and preserve authenticity. We provide creators solutions to achieve independence and ownership over their work with Web3.
How do I get started?
Create a Metamask Wallet here. Connect to authenticate and you're good to go. Welcome to decentralized social networking!
How does it work?
Upload. Sign. Own. Start decentralizing and owning your work with Web3 solutions. No platform should have a monopoly over your ability to express your art, works, catalogue. Begin by uploading, sign the content with your Metamask Wallet, certifying authenticity, you now own the work and we help pin and scale the content for you. Emiti formats all posts for interoperabiltiy and pins the content with IPFS. It is encouraged for users to also pin content locally and or run community nodes to ensure true ownership regardless of Emiti status.
How does Emiti balance decentralization and content moderation?
Emiti currently uses IPFS, a gateway-based protocol to support content, so if necessary, hashes of content can be removed without compromising user ownership and decentralization. This allows Emiti to be compliant while supporting users. We want to remain operational and are committed to navigating ongoing Web3 development and regulatory frameworks to provide services.
